Here it is. The freeeeaking pennant banner.
I put off making this for several reasons. Okay, only one reason. It was brutally boring and tedious.

Busy, busy, busy!
So DS's birthday party is fast approaching. With that comes LOTS of crafting. The only down side is that it leaves very little time for blogging. So I wanted to write a quick post about a few of the things I've done this last week.

DIY Birthday Party part 1: DIY decorated solo cups! (Yo Gabba Gabbe themed)
Those of you who follow Pinworthy on Facebook know that I promised to make and blog about a pinworthy pennant banner for DS's birthday party.
Guess what? I lied.
Before you get all upset, I lied because I had a brilliant new idea, and I couldn't help but make it happen. Those of you DIYers who craft know that spontaneous genius leaves little time for planned projects. I ended up at party city yesterday, and I happened to see some super cool SOLO cups. The green and orange were the PERFECT color to use for this project, and the wheels started spinning...
DS's party is Yo Gabba Gabba themed. For those of you who don't know what it is, I really don't think I could give you a justified description, but here are the stars of the show.
The stars of this project are the green guy, Brobee, and the Orange suited gentleman names DJ Lance Rock.

Make your child love vegetables!!!!
My son has hated vegetables since day one. He pulled a yuck face every time we fed him vegetables for months when he first began eating baby food. I've since been working to find outside the box ways to feed him a variety of vegetables (and OH too!!)
Now I love vegetables, and I always have. You can do so much with them! I have spent the majority of my life as a vegetarian/vegan. When I was 15 years old, I marched in my kitchen one morning and proclaimed my undying love for animals, and told my mother I would no longer eat meat. Her response? I'd better learn how to cook, then. And I did.
So here are some of my favorite veggie-ful snacks and entrees! These are simple recipes, so don't expect a lot of innovation. What you can expect is easy to whip up snacks that will have you child asking for more.
Let's get real. What is one of the most delicious, kid friendly veggie snack?
Ants on a log!
I really feel as though an Ants on a Log tutorial would not be necessary, but I will add one tidbit.
I have recently taken to adding chia sees to nearly everything. Add them to your ants on a log for an omega 3 powerhouse and it adds to the satisfying crunch of the celery. You may not get a whole lot of green nutrition from this snack, but fiber never hurts and the protein is healthy and clean!

Tips to creating a perfect cake - everytime!
When I started baking a few years ago, it would have been nice to find a blog with practical, usable tips from start to finish. Baking is a serious learning process, and I have some serious tricks up my sleeve.
